Since the start of this project in its current phase at the end of last year I have been attempting to make a couple of short videos (3-4min) long, that would encapsulated, promote, inform, and entertain, and enthuse ourselves, as well as those we would like to attract to this project.
The difficulty I am having is defining, apart from the obvious dis-authoritarianism (which I think is much better than the obvious anti-authoritarian concept most people take from the Question Authority idiom), is appreciating what we would want to put across to others and ourselves. What do we stand for, and want to say, I am having difficulty in putting this into words, and thoughts to convey to others.
I have/am toying with the technology to do a short daily show alternative sketch using puppet, or cgi avatars, but admit my scripting skills leave much to be desire despite being technically competant. As well as a sudden lack of space, as my studio metamorphosises into a nursery, and I have to downsize on hardware space.
Basically I am frustrated in terms on having the skills and equipment to produce the video content, yet no knowing what would be an effortive format, dialogue story, ideas to put across.
So in part I am looking for inspiration, ideas, and any help to try and help produce some visual/audio media for these projects (by "profession" I am a psychedelic digital video artist.performer, but this as a medium doesn't necessarily translate well, and Timothy Leary did it aptly with the collaborative Think for Yourself video from the 90's.)
All contributions, ruminations, and assistance welcome.
