About Me:

I believe that people are basically good, and with that as my framework, that government makes people "bad" by externalizing both motivation for things that are good: education, helping others, doing the dishes, exercise, and externalizing restraints on things that are bad: killing others, stealing, disrespecting the property rights of others. I hesitate at full libertarianism because I fear that the conventional libertarian goal is the maximizing of personal freedoms through removing impediment, whereas I support maximizing personal freedoms by ensuring a citizenry of autonomous individuals.
